About

Sarah Roseman is a Canadian designer educated at the Design Academy Eindhoven. Since graduating in 2021, her practice has entered around material research and expression, with a strong focus on textile. Using textile as a starting point, she combines a variety of materials with the medium including glass, ceramic, wood and metal, as well as creating pieces from fibres such as fibreglass, reclaimed yarn and rope. She explores the boundary between textile and object, revealing the potential of textile techniques to be used in the world of sculptural furniture. Her playful and imaginative works aim to evoke joy, transforming conventional functional furniture into objects that seem to come alive within interior spaces.
